  • Identify the upper extremity arterial anatomy and physiology.
  • Implement routine precools for performing upper extremity arterial evaluations.
  • Recognize normal and abnormal arterial Doppler characteristics.
  • Recognize ultrasound characteristics of occlusive disease and vasospastic disorders.
  • Outline the pre-operative assessment for radial artery harvest for (CABG) or hemodialysis access placement.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Sonographers physicians and other medical professional performing and/or interpreting non-invasive vascular testing for arterial disease.
