An Acclaimed Review of Abdominal & Pelvic Imaging

This course guides radiologists in determining indications for the different abdominal and pelvic imaging modalities, as well as indications for secondary imaging studies. This is achieved by providing an updated review of state-of-the-art imaging methods and evidence-based practice in CT, MRI and US as they pertain to the gastrointestinal and genitourinary systems.

• Apply the ACR recommendations for managing incidental CT-scan findings in the kidney, liver, adrenal gland and pancreas
• Identify indications for the use of different imaging modalities (CT/MRI/US) for various abdominal-pelvic organs and conditions

Accreditation

The University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation

UCSF designates this educational activity for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The total credits are inclusive of 5.0 in CT, in 4.25 MR, 1.75 in Ultrasound and 1.0 in PET/CT.

Series Release: May 1, 2016
Series Expiration: April 30, 2019 (deadline to register for credit)

CME credit is obtained upon successful completion of an activity post-test and evaluation, as well as payment of a $45 processing fee. CME Credit registration forms must be submitted prior to series expiration date. Certificates will be dated upon receipt and cannot be dated retroactively.
