OBJECTIVES

  • Demonstrate the participant’s knowledge to better perform and/or interpret MSK ultrasound examinations.
  • Demonstrate scanning protocols for performing shoulder ultrasound examinations.
  • Identify normal shoulder anatomy during musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging.
  • Increase confidence to incorporate protocols, techniques & interpretation criteria to improve shoulder diagnostic/treatment.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Physicians, sonographers, PAs and NPs, and other medical professionals who are involved with performing and/or interpreting musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations. Physician participants may include (but are not limited to) radiology, sports medicine, orthopedics, rheumatology, chiropractic medicine, internal medicine, family practice, emergency medicine, physical therapists and PM & R.
